Ringed Y dwarf

A substellar object surrounded by rings.

Astrophysically speaking, I consider this object to belong to the coldest type of brown dwarfs, a Y dwarf:

Brown dwarfs of higher temperature (T dwarfs) are thought to have a magenta color due to absorption by sodium and potassium, but I wanted this object to be colder so the rings don't sublimate. And JPL depicted a Y dwarf in purple colors in this illustration in 2011:

However, the text says the purple color shown there was chosen mainly for artistic reasons. And apparently the sodium and potassium features disappear below 500 K, in any case, and water clouds appear at 400-500 K. Plus I'm depicting it in reflected light from a main-sequence companion, instead of emission (it would be black otherwise), so who knows how accurate this is.

The structure in the rings was made by mixing two noise patterns at different scales (very stretched in one direction) and applying the mix to the alpha and color channels. A lot of different patterns can be obtained just by changing the randomness seed.
