Quasar

Result of some tests I did in August 2014 trying to represent the accretion disk and surrounding dusty torus of a quasar. I tried to convey how incredibly bright the central engine is compared to the dust and other structures.
I ended up using this visualization in a poster showcasing some of my research results at an astrophysics conference.
